Ajith's 'Asal' audio

Jan 5, 2010: The audio of much-hyped Ajith starrer Asal was launched in a simple function at the residence of thespian Sivaji Ganesan in Chennai on Monday.



Produced on behalf of Sivaji Films by the late actor's sons Prabhu and Ramkumar, Asal's audio launch was confined to the cast and crew of the film and the media.

Speaking on the occasion, Ajith said, 'it was a delight working for Sivaji Films, who were very supportive and encouraged me a lot. Director Charan and I share a great vibe and it would reflect on screen.'

Dwelling on the album, he said, 'Bharadwaj has done amazing work. It is one of his musical best. All have put in sincere work. Unlike other films, everyone in the movie would have a part to play'.

Charan, throwing light on the film, said, 'Ajith's contribution has been immense. He has involved himself in every process of the filmmaking since the project began.'

His dedication to excel in every fareme amazed me. Good at spotting talents, he was the one who suggessted me to introduce Prashanth Misale (a former associate of Nirav Shah) as cinematographer.'

Thanking Sivaji Films, Charan said, 'they were supportive and encouraged us to come out with a quality product unmindful of the cost'.

A song on father-son relationship penned for the movie by Vairamuthu is our dedication to the family of Sivaji Ganesan, he added.

Bharadwaj, who is completing 50 films with Asal, says, 'It was a nice opportunity to reinvent myself. The songs are different from each other'.

Ramkumar, Prabhu, Yuhi Sethu, Shalini Ajith were among those present on the occasion.
